Sarah Koppen is a guitarist of rare talent based in Brisbane. Her unique take on the instrument relies on techniques such as fingerstyle, percussive rhythm playing and alternative tunings, echoing the work of musicians such as Andy McKee, Kaki King and Tommy Emmanuel.
A talented 26 year old guitarist, Sarah performs and teaches regularly throughout South East Queensland, earning accolades and a positive reception for her unique approach and accomplished technique.
Sarah draws massive crowds with her regular street performances. She is currently working on her debut cd which is a culmination of all the experiences, influences techniques and skills she has acquired through her wonderful journey.
